My Yellow Taxi Co. is an exciting and fast-paced time-management game that challenges players to create and manage their own taxi station. I was tasked with developing the central game loop and visual mechanics, as well as contributing to the design of levels and overall gameplay. For this game, i used Zenject Dependency Injection to manage dependencies and implemented a helper NPC AI using state machine to help player with managing drivers. In this game, there were 4 types of vehicles and each of them could be broken in a possible 3 ways, so i used a factory to pseudo-randomly generate vehicles and used callbacks to change the state of the vehicles as player acted on them. There were 6 different upgrades which player could purchase to change the state of the game, so in order to simplify the persistent saving system, i used commands to execute state changes. I used the same approach for NPC behaviours, which simplified patrolling, waiting, moving to car and following the player states. My other responsibilities for this game includes integrating Adjust and GameAnalytics, Designing and implementing adaptive UI, implementing player controls, animating objects using DOTween and level design. This game was tested with Ketchapp and Supersonic and i participated in game design process with their publishing managers.
